Prime Minister Tony Abbott said it was great to be with the Member for Robertson, Lucy Wicks and the Member for Dobell, Karen McNamara as he met with business and community leaders across the Central Coast.

We Are Not Just About Creating Jobs

“We are not just trying to create jobs on the Central Coast, we are better connecting the Central Coast to Sydney, we are better connecting the Central Coast to other places where there are jobs through our investment in NorthConnex” said the Prime Minister.

NorthConnex is twin tunnel motorway linking the M2 M1 under Pennant Hills Road. The link will ease congestion and reduce travel times for commuters.

“NorthConnex would not be happening without a good Coalition state government working with a good Coalition national government to give the Central Coast, along with the rest of Australia, the modern infrastructure that it needs.”

The Prime Ministers attended a fundraising function at Central Coast Leagues Club with Robertson federal Liberal MP Lucy Wicks later in the day.

‘Zoo and Snooze’

by Gaye Crispin

This year’s one night Networking Sleepout at the Australian Reptile Park will be held on Friday 7th August 2015.

Zoo and Snooze Executive Sleepout aims to raise funds and awareness of the issues surrounding homelessness on the Central Coast of NSW.

The Sleepout connects executives, business owners and their staff with what homeless people experience every night.

Although a one night sleepout can never truly share what being homeless is like, it can help open our eyes a little.
