NOW SHOWING! on Central Coast Commercial TV Stations

Little Nipper,” is an animated community service announcement created by Gaye Crispin and Kim Humphreys (a pair of self-exiled creatives from Sydney now living on the Central Coast) and stars the voices of Darryl “The Big Marn” Brohman of ‘The Footy Show’, and Australian comic icon, poet and writer, Rodney Rude.

Following fast on the heels of the success of Gaye Crispin‘s Adopt-A-Nipper program, https://www.surflifesaving.com.au/news/adopt-a-nipper-initiative-a-roaring-success  the ‘Little Nipper’ animated advertisement was created to help grow Nippers numbers, and also increase the number of beach and surf-savvy kids who live on the Central Coast.

7 months and 900 hours later, friends and dual-force behind the “Little Nipper” TV & Radio ad, Gaye Crispin and Kim Humphreys, out and about in Gosford.

The 30 second cartoon, a community service announcement, was an idea that grew into a passionate collaboration between Gaye Crispin (Coast Times Founder and Publisher), and Kim Humphreys a (Multi Award Winning Animator and Musician).

In March 2015 the pair committed to combine their talents, volunteer their time, and create a TV and radio community service ad/announcement that would encourage more local kids on the Central Coast to “give Nippers a go.”

Seven (7) months (and 900+ volunteer man-hours) later, Kim and Gaye are thrilled ‘’Little Nipper’ is now a reality that’s airing on a number of TV stations across the Central Coast and Hunter region and wish to thank everyone who contributed to the project, or offered encouragement, support and coffee along the way.
