3m x 2m Display Model of Proposed Buddhist Temple at Westfield Tuggerah
Two weeks ago a DA was lodged with Wyong Council for the first stage of the Theme Park development which incorporates a Buddhist temple and 244 room hotel with a multi level car park to be built at Warnervale.
The next stage incorporates 50 restaurants, 500 seat theatre, parks, waterways and hotel.
The Chinese Theme Park Group have today unveiled a 3m x 2m model of the proposed Buddhist Temple at Westfield Tuggerah.
This is the biggest and most detailed model Council has ever received, and took 15 men 45 days to build at a cost of over $100,000.
This is a great opportunity to get an idea of what is planned for the site. The model will be on display at Westfield Tuggerah for about 2-3 months and is located near Woolworths.

This application is the beginning of a $500 million development for Wyong Shire that will create 5,000 much needed local jobs.
The flow on effect of other associated jobs will be staggering. I encourage everyone including Mr Harris to go and have a look and make their comments to council on the Temple.
In my view this further demonstrates that this project does have significant backing , the proponents have spent in the order of $1m to date on this project , hardly a smoke and mirrors exercise
I am very pleased this application has been lodged and it demonstrates the commitment to proceed with this project.
